The silencing was deliberate. The lies were orchestrated. And those with the authority to stop both — didn't.

While OMCG-connected perpetrators made premeditated threats to ruin her reputation online, attempted to take over her business first via low-ball offers under duress and then extortion when the predatory acquisition campaign failed, and extorted their way through an industry, Jess filed complaints. Produced evidence. And was ignored.

While in person she endured death threats, stalking, and intimidation every time she tried to leave her home.

Jess feared for her life, the enforcers told her “if she spoke or reported to Police she might die.”

The orchestrator of the siege made an explicit extortion threat: “hand over your business or suffer the consequences”.

The Police made a mockery of the danger Jess reported.

Three compounding institutional failures are documented:

• The systematic suppression of ***evidence***
• And Victoria Police's documented pattern of conduct - cctv and evidence proves from the very first contact with Jess, every mental health referral was unwarranted, they should've open an investigation and protected Jess.

There is no explanation for this conduct that is either logical or justifiable. The Police response was degrading, retraumatising and life devastating.

No action has been taken to revisit the evidence in light of Jess's formal diagnosis of complex PTSD with acute retraumatisation despite request, a diagnosis that proves the trauma was real, as the documentation and CCTV evidence had already established from the beginning.

The result of these Institutional Failures — and these are just four of many documented outcomes:

• A Melbourne high-rise under criminal control for six months

• A victim still barricaded in her own home

• Multiple victims, businesses lost, financial devastation, reputations damaged and victims left traumatised from unchecked abuse.

• An ongoing, multi-year public safety crisis — posing unacceptable risk to the community — with no institutional resolution in sight
